Active T- Sign

Transett T, the Architects Choice in Loop Signage and the only aesthetic, real time, Loop Monitor.

This unique active signage not only promotes your loop installation it actively monitors the system displaying how well the loop is functioning in real time.

The T sign logo is etched into perspex and illuminated by red or green LED's depending on the field strength of the loop system and the programme set.

It is currently the only signage that allows the facility to fully comply with IEC601184:2014.

In this latetest revision of the standard, there is a recommendation to publicly display that the Loop system is operational. Our Loop amplifiers feautre remote LED outputs for presence of live signal and Loop current but with Transett T they are now redundant!

Transett T: Good Field strength

When the field strength reaches -6dB or greater the T symbol will be lit GREEN

Transett T: High Field Strength

When the field strength is greater than 0dB the T symbol will be lit RED

Transett T:Low Field strength

Copper Foil Tapes

3 widths of copper foil tape and 1 twin copper foil tape for cost effective design.

The tapes are all electrically insulated with a thin transparent poymer coating. They are supplied on 100m 'reduce tangle' reels.

The twin tape is supplied on both 100m and 50m rolls. It can be connected in parallel to provide the same impedance as the 25mm wide copper foil tape or connected in series to from a 2 turn loop and take advantage of the higher drive voltages of the PLS-X and new Superloop models

Installation and Warning Tapes

Double sided adhesive tape and gaffer tape are the 2 most popular methods of fixing copper foil tapes. To reduce the risk of installed copper tape being cut or oterwise damaged 2 widths of Warning tape are also available

Microphones

The type of microphone used is critical to the intelligibility performance of the system. Ideally, the microphone should be placed as close as possible to the person speaking. Our microphones are also tested for susceptibiliy to EMC. Many low cost electret type microphones do not have adequate screening and in some cases may introduce a severe buzz into the audio chain
