Does any one know what percentage of hearing aids in the UK have a T-Coil?

I was told that the NHS no longer issue hearing aids with a T coil. Is that true?

All hearing aids dispensed by the NHS have T-Coils. But the T coil is not always activated or set up correctly. I was told it takes about 15 minutes to set up the T- coil in a hearing aid and to explain/demonstrate its use. Which, seems like no time at all when you consider the benefit, however, I was also told by a senior audiologist and lecturer that, the consulting time with a patient is only 45 minutes in total. Consequently only half the job gets done

:) The latest NHS Hearingaid Tender has just been issued. It styates that all Hearing aids must include the T-coil. This contract will remain in place for 3 years. So more good news for induction loops
